This application is required to transfer land to a Beneficiary entitled under a will or intestacy.
The application comprises of a Booking form – Form LRA 9, Transfer to the personal
representative – Form LRA 39 and Transfer to a Beneficiary under will or intestacy – Form LRA 42.
REQUIREMENTS
• Land Title Number.
• Grant of Representation.
• Certificate of Confirmation of Grant.
• Name, ID, PIN and address of Administrators or Executors.
• Name, ID, PIN and address of Beneficiary.
PROCEDURE
• Fill in this Application.
• The parties must sign the Transfers before an Advocate.
• Assess, Stamp and register the documents at the appropriate Land Registry within 30 days.
