What is Lawyer Wangu?

Lawyer Wangu is an online “do-it-yourself” portal for generation of personalised legal documents. The process is simple, quick and affordable.

Does Lawyer Wangu offer legal advice?

This service is not available for the time being.

Do you Need to Register?

Yes and you only register once.

Why do i need to Register?
  1. To create a secure personal Account which only you can access with your username and password.
  2. Your personal details will be auto-populated in your documents.
  3. To enable you to save documents in your Account.
How much does it cost to Register?

Registration is free.

How do i Register?

Easy! Click Register on the homepage Top menu. Fill in your personal details, agree to the terms and submit. And you are done.
Login using your Username and Password.

How do I Log in?

Click on Log in, on the top menu. Enter your Username and Password and log in.

Why do I need to log in?

To complete a purchase you must log in to your account.

What is my data used for?

Your personal data is only used to authenticate your safe login and to auto-populate your documents. We DO NOT SHARE CUSTOMER INFORMATION. 

How do I find a document?

Search for it. There is a ‘Search icon’ on the top menu and on the Home page.

How do I generate/create a legal form?

Select a template from our library of documents. Then fill out a step-by-step questionnaire, make payment and export your completed document in PDF. Our software is designed to turn your answers to a customised legal form.

How long does it take to generate/create a legal form?

It takes less than 5 minutes to generate, download and save your customised legal form.

How do I make payment?

Safaricom M-Pesa is the payment platform. Once you check out and proceed to payment, you will receive a pop up on your android mobile phone to make payment.

What if I don’t find a document that I am looking for?

There is a field for this at the bottom of each category page.

How do I generate a document?

Log in to your account >Choose a document > Complete the document fields on each page>’Save and next’ >Proceed to purchase >Pay by MPESA.

What does the red asterisk mean on top of the document text field?

It is a mandatory field to be completed.

 

Why does the system take me back to a red highlighted text box when I click ‘Save and next’!

It is a mandatory field. It should be completed before you proceed or Skip.

Why is there an X on one of the steps?

It means there is a Mandatory field that is not completed or that was skipped.

How do I complete or correct a text field that was skipped?

Select the steps backwards, each at a time to the desired step. Update the information on the relevant text box. ‘Save and next’ each step.

What do I do if my document has gibberish or is scrambled on preview?
  1. First, refresh your browser.
  2. Secondly, close and reopen your browser, your document will be in ‘My Account’ where you can preview it again.
  3. Thirdly, clear your cache on the browser history settings and preview again.
  4. Lastly, if the gibberish is not cleared, call our customer care number.
Can I save my work and pay later?

Yes. After completing your document, “Proceed to purchase” and “Save for later”. Your document will be saved in ‘My account’ > ‘saved for later’.

Where do I find my saved documents?

Go to ‘My Account’ > ‘Saved for Later’.

Can I choose the document to pay for and leave others?

Yes. Go to Document cart. Select ‘Save for later’ for the documents you want to leave.

What are the payment options?

Pay by Mpesa. Other payment methods will be coming soon.

Can I pay for my order using a different Mobile money Number?

Yes. Proceed to pay with mobile money. Edit the mobile number to pay.

Where do I get my document after I pay for it?

A ‘Download Document’ pop up will appear on your Order Success.  A copy is also sent to your registered email. You can also access the document in ‘My account’ > ‘My orders’.

How do I pay for a document saved for later?

Go to ‘My Account’> ‘Saved for Later’ > ‘Move to cart’ and ‘Proceed to pay’.

Can I edit a document that has been downloaded?

No. Call customer care.

Can I retrieve an old document that was downloaded?

Yes. Go to ‘My Account’ > My orders.
