It comprises of a Booking form – Form LRA 9 and Surrender of Lease – Form LRA 65.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Land Title Number.
  • Name, ID, PIN and address of the Lessor.
  • Name, ID, PIN and address of the Lessee.
  • Name, ID, PIN and address of the Guarantor (if any).
  • Consideration for the discharge.

PROCEDURE

  • Fill in this transfer form.
  • The parties must sign the transfer before an Advocate.
  • Stamp (with nominal stamp duty) and register the transfer at the appropriate Land Registry within 30 days.
