ABOUT THIS DOCUMENT
This affidavit is required by KRA to remove wrongly assigned tax obligations on personal Tax PIN e.g VAT and PAYE to Students or Monthly Rental Income (MRI) to Tenants and Agents.
REQUIREMENTS
• Tax PIN.
• Proof that the tax obligations are wrongly assigned e.g student ID and transcripts confirming you were not employed, letter from chief confirming you do not own a rental property etc.
PROCESS
• Fill in this affidavit.
• Sign before a Commissioner for oaths, Notary Public, Magistrate or Consular officer.
• Submit the affidavit and application for removal of wrongful tax obligations to the Tax Service Office or email to callcentre@kra.go.ke.
