PROFESSIONAL DIRECTORY TERMS AND CONDITIONS

By using www.lawyerwangu.com, you accept to be bound by these terms and conditions.

Purpose and Scope

Lawyer Wangu is a legal technology Company. 

Lawyer Wangu has a professional directory connecting Professionals with clients seeking expert advice and services. 

Indemnification

Professionals agree to indemnify and hold Lawyer Wangu, its directors, officers, and employees harmless from any actions, claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from their use of the platform. Professionals shall be solely responsible for the advice they provide to clients and any legal consequences thereof.

Indemnity Cover

All Professionals listed on the professional directory must have a valid indemnity cover. The indemnity cover should provide adequate protection against any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, or expenses that may arise from the professional services or advice provided to clients. Failure to maintain an appropriate indemnity cover may result in the suspension or termination of the Professional’s listing on the platform.

Registration and Approval

Professionals are required to sign up for the directory by providing relevant documents and information. Lawyer Wangu shall review and evaluate the applications, reserving the right to accept or decline. 

Subscription fee

Professionals shall pay an annual subscription fee of Kshs. 6,500. 

The subscription fee may be subject to variation. 

The subscription fee is non-refundable. 

Professionals who fail to renew their subscription in a timely manner will have their access to the Lawyer Wangu professional directory and associated services discontinued. 

Lawyer Wangu shall not be held liable for any losses or damages incurred by the professional due to the discontinuation of services resulting from failure to renew the subscription. 

Quality of services 

Professionals shall provide advice and services with care, skill and diligence. 

Lawyer Wangu shall conduct quality checks every so often.

Professionals found to provide substandard services will be required to defend their conduct, and their accounts may be suspended if due care, skill, and diligence is not demonstrated. 

Termination of Membership

Lawyer Wangu reserves the right to terminate Professional’s subscription on the platform for any violation of these terms and conditions or unethical conduct, as determined by Lawyer Wangu.

Third-Party Websites and Trademarks

The website may contain hyperlinks to third-party websites. The inclusion of these links does not imply recommendations, and Lawyer Wangu has no control or liability for third-party websites.

Modifications to Terms

Lawyer Wangu may modify these terms and conditions at any time, and the updated terms shall apply from the date of publication on the website.
